Reasons Why I and Other Eket Entertainers were Arrested by the Nigerian Police Force Eket Division - Ras Ebby Onyemaechi

Early afternoon of Sunday 2nd September 2018, President General Friends of Good Governance Akparawa Udofia Ekpeyo was arrested alongside his members at Precious World Resorts Ltd behind Mobil Airstrip Eket Akwa Ibom state while holding a meeting to organised for the Students Mass Rally for Gov Udom, Nse Essien and others promising aspirants come 2019 election.

According to the source who's identity remain unknown made it clear to our reporter that on that very day of the arrest that one Mr Samuel who is one of the Akwa Ibom Youth Leader from Eket noticed the group and as well listen to some of the minutes of the meeting and then decided to call on the Nigeria Police Force for the arrest of the members of the group claiming that the group is not a social nor a political group but rather a cult group.
However,it is believed that Mr Samuel is a PDP core member who is secretly working for the All Progressive Congress APC and also seeking the lease of Precious World Resort to Himself.

"My experience in the police cell was something else that i still wonder if most of the police officers were actually screened for the job or if they were just picked up from the street to wear the uniform, the manner of approach is not welcoming and as such regards humble and diligent citizens of the great country as animals.
The most painful part of it all is when they turned the station to a commercial ground that no one is permitted to be released without a heavy bail bound even after witnessing the DPO telling one Inspector Terson from Eket Divisional Headquarters to release one poor boy who committed no crime but returning home late without any charge but the Inspector still insist by keeping the boy beyond the given time ordered by the DPO and as well turning deaf ears to the DPO and still insist the young man pays him money before he could release him which the young man had no choice but to loan one of the in-mate to pay before he could leave.
Funny enough,he accompanied the boy to the ATM to get the cash " FGG President confessed.

Moreover,President FGG still went on saying that the government needs to carefully per attention to the poor cry of the citizens at the Police station because the way matters are been treated is not nice especially to those who are poor.
Imagine when two or more people commits an offence and instead of the matter to be treated dully they will turn to favour who ever has the money and led the rest to punishment. The Police station is now a place where bread, groundnut and sachet water is made compulsory to buy until it is finished before one can eat rice, beans, soup, etc. Just to make sure they earn their sales;A place were one needs to pay commission before seeing family and friends; A place were one needs to stay for at least three(3) or four (4) days before taking statement; A place were one needs to stop visiting the rest room at 8:30-9pm;A place were one needs to say what they want and not what the suspect has to say; A place were they tell suspects that Barristers even SAN cannot do anything to help anyone.

However, contacts were made to see how the members of the group could be released after the IPO Inspector Terson had made his ransom to #100000 but however the President of the body Akparawa Udofia Ekpeyo had bailed himself out with #10000 so as to run around for the release of the other three members who are identified as Utibe Udeme Udo (Bravado), Ras Ebby Onyemaechi, Daniel Samuel (Isip Nation).

Akparawa Udofia Ekpeyo, adds saying no matter the blocks and wages that the body or group will continuously stand fame with the PDP led Administration and as well promises to battle the just started fight to the very end. And the the students mass rally must to be held.

Below is a demonstration done by the IPO to Ras Ebby Onyemaechi :

1. Transfer to Ikot Akpan Abia
2. Bail: N50,000 then he now slash to N30,000
3. Court: Free
4. Bail for the 4: N200,000 then he now slash to N100,000
